47th Annual Conference 12./13.11.2021

While in 2020 for the first time no annual conference took place due to the restrictions resulting from the pandemic situation, the 47th annual conference of the African Law Association was held on 12th and 13th November 2021 in cooperation with the Erlangen Centre on Islam and Law in Europe in Erlangen on the subject "Islam and Law in Africa" and dealt with different aspects of the role of Islamic law in Africa. The 45th annual conference of the African Law Association "Judiciary, Public Administration and Rule of Law in Africa" was held from 15th until 16th November 2019 in Stuttgart. The conference was held in cooperation with the Foundation on Development Cooperation Baden Württemberg (Stiftung Entwicklungs Zusammenarbeit Baden Württemberg, SEZ).
